We are thrilled to announce that we have received a generous software grant from Microsoft for our work at The Cherey (One Health) Foundation. This grant will enable us to use Microsoft’s cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and data analytics tools to advance our mission of improving human, animal, and environmental health.
The Cherey (One Health) Foundation is a nonprofit organization that aims to promote One Health, which recognizes the interconnection of all living beings and their habitats. We believe that by addressing the health challenges of humans, animals, and ecosystems in an integrated way, we can achieve better outcomes for all.
One of our main projects is to develop a One Health platform that will collect, analyze, and share data from various sources, such as health records, environmental sensors, wildlife cameras, and social media. This platform will help us monitor the emergence and spread of zoonotic diseases, which are diseases that can jump from animals to humans, such as COVID-19, Ebola, and rabies. Using Microsoft’s cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and data analytics tools, we can process large amounts of data faster and more efficiently and generate insights to inform public health policies and interventions.
We are grateful to Microsoft for their support and partnership in this endeavor. We look forward to collaborating with them and other stakeholders in the One Health community to create a healthier and more sustainable world for all.
