Brucellosis in Dogs milestone passed

“The Cherey (One Health) Foundation” has recently achieved a minor milestone by identifying the states in the United States that mandate the reporting of canine brucellosis. This information will enable the Foundation to ascertain the number of cases in those states where testing is obligatory, and potentially across the entire United States. Furthermore, the Foundation plans to leverage this information to develop an in-house test. This will facilitate a higher volume of testing, thereby enhancing our understanding and management of canine brucellosis. The Foundation is hopeful that a simple blood test using whole blood can be developed. This would significantly enhance our ability to conduct more tests and gain a deeper understanding of canine brucellosis. We always welcome and appreciate your feedback!
